How to use the name wheel

How do I put my own names on the wheel?

Click “Create your own name picker”, then type or paste your list, one name per line, or import it from a spreadsheet. Saving gives you a link to the same wheel next time.

Can I remove a name after it’s picked?

Yes. Click “Hide & Respin” on the result, or turn on “Fair picks” in your own copy, and each name picked sits out until everyone has had a turn.

How many names fit on a wheel?

Up to 200 on a wheel.

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. Every entry has a slice of the same size, and where the wheel stops is picked with your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so nobody can predict or rig the result.

Can I change the entries on this wheel?

Yes. Click “Create your own name picker” to save your own copy. You can then add, remove or rename entries, change the theme and spin settings, and share or embed your wheel.
