Why use a fortune teller wheel

Twelve happy fortunes are on the wheel, like the paper fortune tellers kids fold. Every spin is random. Probably. Spin one at a party, a sleepover or the start of the day, and see if it comes true.

Tell fortunes at a party
Guests take turns spinning a fortune, then check at the end of the night if it came true.
Read fortunes at a sleepover
Friends spin a fortune each before bed and share what they hope it means.
Start the day with a fortune
Teachers can spin one fortune for the whole class as a cheerful start to the morning.

This wheel wears the Twist of Fate theme: the wheel of fortune card: midnight indigo, gold stars and the zodiac. Your own copy keeps it, or pick another wheel theme.

How to use the fortune teller wheel

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I write my own fortunes?

Yes. Click “Create your own fortune picker” and type your own, for a party theme, a birthday or a class.

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. Every entry has a slice of the same size, and where the wheel stops is picked with your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so nobody can predict or rig the result.

Can I change the entries on this wheel?

Yes. Click “Create your own fortune picker” to save your own copy. You can then add, remove or rename entries, change the theme and spin settings, and share or embed your wheel.
