Why use a choice wheel
Going back and forth? Eight things to do are on the wheel for a bored afternoon, so you can try it right now. For a real decision, make your own copy, type your choices or options, and spin once.
Find something to do when nobody has an idea
Spin the eight activities on the wheel and do whatever it lands on, with no second spin allowed.
Stop going round in circles over your options
Type two to ten options into your own copy. Often you’ll know the answer as soon as the wheel lands.
Let the group settle on one plan
Everyone adds one idea, the wheel picks, and nobody had to be the one who decided.
Break a tie in a class vote
Put the options that tied on the wheel, spin on the projector and move on with the lesson.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same as an option wheel?
Yes. An option wheel and a choice wheel do the same job: type your list, spin, and one is picked.
Can I type my own choices?
Yes. Click “Create your own choice picker” and type or paste them, up to 200 on a wheel, though it’s easiest to read with 20 or fewer. Save it to keep the same wheel for next time.
Can I make one choice more likely?
Yes. Add the same choice more than once, and it gets more slices of the wheel.
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. Every entry has a slice of the same size, and where the wheel stops is picked with your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so nobody can predict or rig the result.
Can I change the entries on this wheel?
Yes. Click “Create your own choice picker” to save your own copy. You can then add, remove or rename entries, change the theme and spin settings, and share or embed your wheel.
Is it free?
Completely free, with no sign-up needed. Create a free account only if you want to keep your wheels together.
Make your own choice wheel
Click “Create your own choice picker” at the top to save your own copy, or start a wheel from scratch with your own entries.
