Secret Santa Generator With Email: Send Each Link Free
Published
A Secret Santa generator with email draws the names, then sends each person their own private link. Ours is free with no sign-up: draw, type an address beside each name and press send. You don’t see who drew whom, so you can join in too.
How It Works
First, add everyone’s names to the Secret Santa generator, or press Draw names on the sample list to see how it goes. Set a budget and a date if you like, and keep couples or whole households apart.
On the page that follows, type an address beside each name and press the button to send. Each person gets one email with one link. They open it, spin a small wheel, and it lands on the person they’re giving to. The page shows the budget and date too.
Keep the Whole List for Yourself
Press Email me and we send you a private link to the whole list. Open it on any device to copy someone’s link again if theirs goes missing. It shows names and links, and never who drew whom.
Keep that email to yourself, as anyone with the link can open every person’s link.
What We Do With the Addresses
Nothing reaches us unless you press send. When you do, the names, addresses and links pass through us and our email service to deliver the messages, and we don’t store them. Every message is the same set wording, and nobody can add their own, so a Secret Santa email can’t be used to send anything else.
For a class, use a parent’s or another grown-up’s address, not a child’s. First names are all the draw needs.
When Copying Is Better
We send a limited number of emails each day, so a big group may be asked to send fewer or try tomorrow. Copy all links always works, and it puts every name and link on your clipboard to paste where you need it. A work chat or a family message thread does the job.
If a name has a web address or a word we don’t send, we won’t email that draw. Change the name and draw again, or copy the links.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a Secret Santa generator email everyone?
Yes. Ours emails each person their own link once you’ve typed their address, with no accounts for anyone. Each person sees only their own draw.
Why didn’t someone get their email?
Ask them to look in spam first, as the message comes from an address they don’t know. If it isn’t there, check the spelling of the address and send it again, or copy their link.
Do people need an account to open their link?
No. The link opens straight on the page, on any phone or computer, with nothing to install.
Draw Names for Free
Type the names and each person gets a private link to spin and see who they’re buying for. No sign-up.
