Why use a color spinner wheel
Twelve colors a child can name are on the wheel, and every slice is painted the color it says, so even early readers can play. Use it instead of a color die in a board game, or spin a color to draw with or to find.
Replace a lost color die or spinner
Spin for each turn in a board game that moves by color, and the whole table can see the result.
Pick the color for an art task
Teachers can spin a color and have the class draw only with it, or find things that match it.
Play a color hunt at home
Kids spin a color and race to find something in the room that matches it.
This wheel wears the Color Me Spun theme: a paint box of twelve true colors, each slice the color it names. Your own copy keeps it, or pick another wheel theme.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do the colors change when I add one?
Each slice takes its color from its place on the wheel. Add new colors at the end and the first twelve keep their own color.
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. Every entry has a slice of the same size, and where the wheel stops is picked with your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so nobody can predict or rig the result.
Can I change the entries on this wheel?
Yes. Click “Create your own color picker” to save your own copy. You can then add, remove or rename entries, change the theme and spin settings, and share or embed your wheel.
Is it free?
Completely free, with no sign-up needed. Create a free account only if you want to keep your wheels together.
