Why use a sight word wheel

All 40 Dolch pre-primer sight words are already on the wheel, each with the same chance. Spin a word for a child to read aloud, spell or use in a sentence, and hide each one they know so practice moves to the words still to learn.

Spin a word for each reader in turn
Teachers can spin for every child in a reading group, who reads the word aloud before the next spin.

How to use the sight word wheel
