Why use a dessert wheel

Sixteen desserts are on the wheel, some to buy and some to bake. Spin one after dinner, or spin on the weekend and bake the winner together.

Settle what’s for dessert
Spin once instead of everyone asking for something different.
Pick a dessert to bake together
Families spin on the weekend and bake the winner.
Choose the party dessert
Spin to pick the birthday or party treat.

This wheel wears the Spinkles theme: soft pastels and sprinkled donuts: one for a rim, one for a hub. Your own copy keeps it, or pick another wheel theme.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add our family’s favourites?

Yes. Click “Create your own dessert picker” and add the desserts your family loves.

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. Every entry has a slice of the same size, and where the wheel stops is picked with your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so nobody can predict or rig the result.

Can I change the entries on this wheel?

Yes. Click “Create your own dessert picker” to save your own copy. You can then add, remove or rename entries, change the theme and spin settings, and share or embed your wheel.
